Find the perfect RAM
for your lifestyle

There are RAM trucks you choose to work hard. Others to drive comfortably every day. And often, the best pick for your reality lands somewhere between the two.

Because your truck has to follow real life: early job sites, weekends at the cottage, hockey practices, camping trips, trailers to pull, and winter roads that do not forgive.

At Paillé Chrysler, we do not start with the model. We start with you. Your pace, your budget, your priorities, what you carry, what you tow, and what you want to feel when you’re behind the wheel.

The goal is simple: help you find the RAM that makes sense for YOUR lifestyle.

Why your lifestyle determines your RAM choice

Before looking at trims, options or towing numbers, we look at how you use your truck.

An entrepreneur does not have the same needs as a parent heading to hockey three nights a week. A camping fan will not shop like someone who hauls construction materials. A driver who spends lots of time on the highway will not choose the same setup as someone working on gravel roads.

That is why we always start by asking simple questions:

  • How many kilometres do you drive per year?
  • What do you carry?
  • What do you tow?
  • Do you mainly drive in the city, on the highway or in rural areas?
  • How long do you plan to keep your truck?
  • Do you want to prioritize comfort, capability or price?

From there, the choice becomes much clearer.

You need a truck for work and towing

If your RAM is for work, it has to be profitable, not just good-looking in the driveway.

For a contractor, a self-employed worker, a farmer or anyone who often pulls a trailer, capability becomes central. The 2026 RAM 2500 and the 2026 RAM 3500 are often the right candidates when the truck works hard almost every day.

The 2026 RAM 2500 can tow up to 20,000 lb., 9,071 kg, with the 6.7 L Cummins Turbo Diesel High Output engine. With the 6.4 L HEMI V8, it can offer a maximum payload of 4,580 lb., or 2,077 kg.

The 2026 RAM 3500 pushes even further. When properly equipped, it can tow up to 36,610 lb., or 16,606 kg, with the 6.7 L Cummins Turbo Diesel High Output engine. Maximum payload reaches 7,590 lb., or 3,443 kg, with the 6.4 L HEMI V8.

In short, if you tow heavy, do it often, or use a fifth wheel or a gooseneck, we will look more seriously at Heavy Duty models.

You want a versatile everyday truck

You want a capable truck that is pleasant day to day. The 2026 RAM 1500 often hits the right balance.

It is sturdy enough for light jobs, recreation, reasonably sized trailers and drives to the cottage. Yet it stays comfortable for commuting, groceries, school drop-offs and longer stretches on Highway 30, Route 132 or Highway 20.

The 2026 RAM 1500 with the 3.0 L Hurricane twin-turbo standard output engine develops 420 horsepower and can tow up to 11,220 lb., or 5,089 kg, when properly equipped. Maximum payload reaches 1,840 lb., or 835 kg.

This is the kind of truck we often recommend when you want to do a bit of everything reasonably well: work a little, travel a lot, carry the family and keep comfortable.

You love the outdoors, camping, hunting and
getting off the beaten path

Do you spend your weekends at the cottage? Hunting, fishing, camping, overlanding or taking forest roads? Then you plan differently.

You do not only need towing. You also want traction, ground clearance, solid confidence on rougher roads and a configuration that accepts your gear.

The RAM 1500 Rebel is an interesting option if you want a truck with more off-road focus without losing full-size pickup comfort. For a more performance-oriented profile, the RAM 1500 RHO is also in the 2026 Canadian lineup.

That said, the right choice depends on your real use. If you pull a camper, a boat or an ATV, we look at capacity. If you often drive on dirt or snowy roads, we look at configuration, tires and useful options, not just style.

You want a comfortable, well-equipped truck

Some customers want a truck that works, but that also feels like getting into a high-end vehicle.

That is where trims like the Laramie, Limited or Tungsten can be interesting. You can enjoy a more refined cabin, modern tech, extra comfort and features that make long drives more pleasant.

And in Quebec, comfort is not a useless luxury. If you spend lots of time in your truck, heated seats, a heated steering wheel, remote start, effective driver-assistance systems, towing technologies and a quiet cabin can truly change your everyday routine.

A comfortable RAM is practical when you drive from Sorel-Tracy to Montreal, when you head to the cottage or when you come back from a long day of work.

You are torn between several uses

This is probably the most common case.

You want a truck for work, but also for family. You want to tow a trailer, but not every week. You want comfort, but you do not want to blow your budget. You like a tough look, but you want to stay logical.

In this case, avoid two pitfalls. The first: buying too small. If you are always at the limit of your truck’s capacity, you risk regretting your choice.

The second: buying too big. A RAM 3500 is impressive, but if your main use is highway driving, family use and towing a small trailer a few times a year, it might not be the best conclusion.

At Paillé Chrysler, we will ask all the necessary questions to truly target the best truck to meet all your needs, not just towing.

Which RAM to choose for your reality

Here is a simple way to get oriented.

RAM 2500

For you if you pull heavier, more often, or if your truck truly serves for work. It offers more margin for trailers, tools and long days.

RAM 3500

For you if you have very serious needs: heavy trailer, fifth wheel, gooseneck, commercial equipment or significant load. It is the choice for big jobs.

Better-equipped trims

For you if you spend lots of time in your truck and comfort matters as much as capability.

A truck is an important purchase. The right budget is not only the monthly payment.

You also have to think about insurance, tires, maintenance, accessories, fuel consumption, resale value and how long you want to keep your vehicle.

At Paillé Chrysler, we look at the full picture with you. New or used. Purchase or financing. Trade-in or not. Professional or personal need. The objective is to find a solution that makes sense today, and in three or five years as well.

A good RAM should work for you, not against your budget.
